Stripe Payments for Saleor
Saleor ships an official open-source Stripe app. We deploy, configure, tune, and operate it for you, routing cards, ACH Direct Debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, SEPA Direct Debit, Stripe Link, and PayPal through Stripe.
Saleor ships an official, open-source Stripe app with documented support for ACH Direct Debit, Apple Pay, card payments, Google Pay, Klarna, PayPal, SEPA Direct Debit, and Stripe Link. Web Shop Manager operates, configures, and extends that official app as part of every Saleor store we run. You get Stripe’s full payment method catalog deployed, wired into your checkout, and maintained, not a project to stand up yourself.
Does Saleor have a built-in Stripe app?
Yes. Saleor ships an official, open-source Stripe app that covers a broad set of payment methods through a single integration. On open-source Saleor, the app is yours to deploy: you self-host it, secure its webhooks, supply your own infrastructure, and keep it patched. Saleor’s one-click App Store is Cloud-only and is not available on a self-hosted build.
Web Shop Manager deploys, configures, and operates the official app for you. We did not build the Stripe app, and we say so plainly. The value we add is operational: getting it live, wired into your Saleor checkout, and kept current. WSM is a Stripe partner, which means our configuration work follows Stripe’s verified integration standards.
What payment methods does Stripe support on Saleor?
Through the official Stripe app, a single integration covers the payment methods Saleor documents for this app:
- Cards: credit and debit card checkout, processed on Stripe.
- ACH Direct Debit: bank-direct payments for US customers who prefer to pay from a checking account.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay: one-tap wallet payments on supported devices and browsers.
- Klarna: buy-now-pay-later presented at checkout.
- PayPal: available as a method routed through Stripe.
- SEPA Direct Debit: bank payments for European transactions.
- Stripe Link: Stripe’s accelerated checkout for returning Stripe shoppers.
The exact method mix depends on your Stripe account, country, and currency settings, which we configure with you when we set the app up.
How do you add Stripe to a Saleor store?
On a self-hosted Saleor build, you deploy the official Stripe app yourself: host it, secure its webhooks, supply your own infrastructure, and keep it patched as Stripe and Saleor evolve. That is real, ongoing work.
With Web Shop Manager, we deploy and host the Stripe app, configure it for your Saleor store, connect your Stripe account, and operate it: monitoring, updates, and support as part of your commerce. Same proven Saleor and Stripe underneath, none of the build-and-maintain burden.

Is the Stripe integration PCI compliant?
Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider, the highest certification tier. Saleor’s official Stripe app uses Stripe Elements and Stripe’s Payment Intents API, so card data is entered directly in Stripe-hosted fields and never touches your server. Web Shop Manager configures the integration to keep payment handling inside Stripe’s tokenized, secured flow, with 3D Secure available for transactions where the card issuer or merchant configuration requires it. Our broader approach to Security, Reliability & Platform Trust covers how we handle the surrounding infrastructure.
What if you need payment methods Stripe does not cover?
Stripe routes a lot, including PayPal as a pass-through method. When you want PayPal to run as its own gateway with the full PayPal Commerce Platform feature set, WSM operates a direct PayPal Integration that can run alongside Stripe. For higher-ticket carts, Affirm BNPL is another integration in our Saleor catalog. If you need a dedicated gateway with broad merchant-account support, we also operate an Authorize.Net Integration. See the Saleor Integrations hub for the full catalog.
Operated for you
As with every integration in our Saleor catalog, you do not stand this up or maintain it yourself. We deploy it, configure it for your store, keep it current, and support it as part of running your Headless / API-First Commerce environment. That includes the Operational Integrations & Automation layer that keeps payment workflows connected to your broader stack, as well as ongoing attention to Performance & Core Web Vitals so checkout speed does not become a conversion drag.
