Best eCommerce Design and Development Agencies for Auto Parts Sellers

These are the design and development teams that build online stores for auto parts sellers. Web Shop Manager publishes this list, and we are one of the teams on it: we design and run parts stores on our own automotive eCommerce platform. Every other team here names at least one aftermarket parts client with a public case study or portfolio page, builds on Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce (Magento) or WooCommerce, and is based in the United States or Canada. Our search and fitment product, PartsLogic search and fitment, runs on BigCommerce through its BigCommerce app marketplace listing, and we offer it for Shopify and Magento stores too, so most of the agencies below build on a platform PartsLogic is already offered for.

We opened every agency’s own website on October 12, 2026 and kept only what we could read there that day: where they are, which platforms they say they build on, and which parts sellers they name as clients. No review scores and no paid placements. About the order: we list ourselves first because it is our list; the rest follow in no particular order. If your store is already built and what you need is traffic, see our separate list of marketing agencies for auto parts sellers.

How we picked these agencies

“Best” needs a definition, so here is ours. An agency made the list only if it met all of these:

  • It names at least one aftermarket parts client on its own site, with a case study or portfolio page you can read.
  • It designs and builds stores on Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce (Magento) or WooCommerce, or, in our own case, on our own platform.
  • It is based in the United States or Canada.
  • Its main offer is services. Agencies that mainly sell their own fitment software were left out, because that is a product comparison and belongs on a different page.

Agencies with an automotive page but no named parts client were left out as well. That is not a judgment on their work. It only means a parts seller cannot check it from the outside.

Ten eCommerce design and development teams with auto parts work you can check

Each entry covers where the agency is, what it builds on, the parts work it names, and who it fits best.

Web Shop Manager

Web Shop Manager publishes this list, so weigh this entry with that in mind. We were founded in 2000, have been based in San Diego, California since 2003, and our in-house team does automotive eCommerce website design on our own platform rather than on Shopify, BigCommerce or Magento.

  • Platforms: Web Shop Manager, our own platform, with year, make and model fitment, ACES and PIES catalog data and PartsLogic search built in.
  • Named parts work: King Shocks, a fitment-first catalog where shoppers start from their vehicle, then build a quote or find a King dealer. Fuelab, a fuel system manufacturer whose store serves racers, engine builders and a dealer network.
  • Fits best: parts sellers who want one company for the design, the platform and the fitment data, instead of an agency on top of a general-purpose cart.

Jamersan

Jamersan is based in Opelika, Alabama, describes itself as a Shopify Plus and BigCommerce agency, and says it has been in eCommerce since 1999. It keeps a dedicated automotive case study page.

  • Platforms: Shopify Plus and BigCommerce.
  • Named parts work: Turn14 Powersports, where 11 separate brand websites were consolidated onto one BigCommerce platform with parts lookup by vehicle make and model. Lordco Auto Parts, a Western Canada parts retailer taking a store network online with inventory tied to its locations. OK4WD, an off-road and overland retailer moved from Magento to BigCommerce.
  • Fits best: multi-brand groups, distributors and retailers with physical locations, and stores leaving Magento.

Classy Llama

Classy Llama is in Springfield, Missouri and has worked in eCommerce since 2007. Its site lists it as an Adobe Silver Partner, a Shopify Plus Partner, and a BigCommerce BigDev and B2B Specialized Partner, and it has an automotive practice page covering fitment search, virtual garages and VIN lookup.

  • Platforms: Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify and BigCommerce.
  • Named parts work: AFE Power, a Magento 1 to Magento 2 migration. QA1, a BigCommerce build where the case study says the team ended up on integration middleware plus a third-party fitment app from the BigCommerce marketplace. Rennline, a Porsche parts brand migrated to BigCommerce.
  • Fits best: parts manufacturers and brands with an ERP to integrate and a catalog that needs real fitment, not a workaround.

121eCommerce

121eCommerce is in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Its site lists it as an Adobe Commerce Solution Partner and a BigCommerce Elite Partner, and it runs an automotive eCommerce practice built around vehicle fitment and part search.

  • Platforms: Shopify, Adobe Commerce (Magento) and BigCommerce.
  • Named parts work: Cognito Motorsports, an aftermarket parts manufacturer migrated from Magento Open Source to Adobe Commerce. RIVA Racing, a personal watercraft performance parts seller on Magento.
  • Fits best: sellers already on Magento or Adobe Commerce who want to stay there and get it stable.

MAK Digital Design

MAK Digital Design is in Bordentown, New Jersey and has been an eCommerce-only agency since 2012. It is a BigCommerce Elite Partner and says it is certified on five platforms.

  • Platforms: BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, WordPress with WooCommerce, and Volusion.
  • Named parts work: Phastek Performance, a Chevy, Corvette and GMC performance parts retailer moved from Volusion to BigCommerce with a redesign. Cip1, a VW parts store, also moved from Volusion to BigCommerce.
  • Fits best: parts stores still on Volusion or another aging cart that need a migration with the design work included.

IntuitSolutions

IntuitSolutions is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It builds on BigCommerce and Shopify, and its site describes its developers as BigDev certified.

  • Platforms: BigCommerce and Shopify.
  • Named parts work: Tires.auto, a tire retailer migrated to BigCommerce. The case study shows a custom “Verify Fitment” feature on the product page and a way for shoppers to save their vehicles so each product page shows whether the item fits.
  • Fits best: BigCommerce stores that want custom storefront work around the buying flow, such as a fitment check on the product page.

Groove Commerce

Groove Commerce lists Baltimore first among its offices, alongside Philadelphia, Austin and Orlando. It names BigCommerce, Shopify, Klaviyo and HubSpot as its partners, so it covers the build and the marketing stack behind it.

  • Platforms: BigCommerce and Shopify.
  • Named parts work: Merchant Automotive, a diesel engine parts and performance retailer on BigCommerce. Groove added a year, make and model selector to the homepage, with the fitment stored on each product as metafields.
  • Fits best: sellers who want one team for the store, email and CRM, with a catalog small enough that fitment can be maintained product by product.

Coalition Technologies

Coalition Technologies is in Los Angeles, California. It is an SEO and web design agency that works across Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WordPress and WooCommerce, and describes itself as a BigCommerce Partner.

  • Platforms: Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento and WooCommerce.
  • Named parts work: Enjuku Racing, a performance racing parts seller known for Nissan aftermarket parts, with BigCommerce web development, design and SEO.
  • Fits best: sellers whose first problem is organic traffic and who want the rebuild done by the team that will run the SEO.

Speed Media Marketing

Speed Media Marketing is in Thamesford, Ontario and works only in the automotive aftermarket. Its eCommerce page covers BigCommerce, Shopify and WooCommerce, and it offers branding and print design next to the store build.

  • Platforms: BigCommerce, Shopify and WooCommerce.
  • Named parts work: ID Speed Shop, built on Turn 14 product and fitment data with a year, make and model search and a saved garage. BG Racing and R/T Tuning are also described on its site, along with branding for J&L Oil Separator Co.
  • Fits best: performance shops and small brands that sell Turn 14 lines and want a team that already knows the category.

Folio3

Folio3 is a software and eCommerce development company with US offices in San Mateo and Pleasanton, California, and further offices in Pakistan, Australia, the UK and other countries. Its auto parts page covers VIN and year, make and model fitment search, ACES and PIES data, and B2B dealer portals.

  • Platforms: Shopify, Adobe Commerce (Magento) and BigCommerce, with WooCommerce, Shopware and Salesforce Commerce Cloud also offered on its site.
  • Named parts work: TJM, an Australian maker of 4WD equipment and accessories, for which Folio3 built three regional Magento 2 B2B dealer stores (Australia, the US and Thailand) connected to TJM’s Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP. Flexiglass, an Australian maker of ute canopies, trays and accessories, moved from Business Catalyst to Magento 2 with B2B and B2C buyers on one store. Both named parts clients are Magento builds; its site names no Shopify or BigCommerce parts client.
  • Fits best: parts manufacturers and distributors selling to dealers on Magento who need the store tied to an ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics.

What to ask any agency about fitment before you sign

A parts store is a catalog problem before it is a design problem. The agency case studies above show three different answers to fitment: metafields on each product, a third-party app, and a distributor data feed. Each one works at a certain catalog size and breaks past it. Ask these before you pick:

  • Where does the fitment data come from, and who updates it when a supplier sends a new file?
  • Can a shopper search by year, make and model, and also confirm fit on the product page?
  • What happens to fitment when the catalog grows from thousands of parts to hundreds of thousands?
  • Which client of yours has a catalog like mine, and can I talk to them?

Where Web Shop Manager and PartsLogic fit

If you stay on BigCommerce, Shopify or Magento and work with one of the other agencies here, PartsLogic is the search and fitment layer we would put under the build: a year make model lookup, a fitment check on the product page, and search that understands vehicle terms. We have a page on year make model search for Shopify stores if that is your platform.

If you are weighing a platform change instead, Web Shop Manager is an automotive eCommerce platform with fitment built in, and we have written up how Web Shop Manager compares with BigCommerce and how it compares with Shopify for parts sellers. For the wider field, see our comparison of the best eCommerce platforms for auto parts.
