Which eCommerce Platforms Work With PDM Automotive?

BigCommerce has a native PDM connector. Shopify does not. Web Shop Manager runs a direct API integration that turns the brands you are authorized for in PDM into complete, categorized, vehicle-fitted product pages.

PDM Automotive integrations

Where your PDM data can actually go

PDM Automotive is a product data platform for the automotive aftermarket. It holds catalog content, ACES vehicle fitment, and PIES media for the brands you are authorized for. The next question is always the same: which eCommerce platform can take that data and turn it into a store that works. Below is the roster as PDM publishes it, then the detail on the deepest path we know of, which is the one we built.

Roster compiled August 2026 from PDM Automotive published materials. Web Shop Manager is not affiliated with PDM Automotive.

Which eCommerce platforms work with PDM Automotive

This is what PDM publishes about platform support as of August 2026, read off their own site and blog. It is a snapshot of public material, not a ranking, and it will change as PDM ships more connectors.

Platform Status in PDM published materials What that means in practice
BigCommerce Native connector, documented by PDM PDM publishes a BigCommerce connector and writes about the integration on its own blog, including multi storefront support and related products. Making that catalog shoppable by vehicle takes a third-party year make model search plug-in on top of the connector, because vehicle search is not native to the platform.
Web Shop Manager Direct API integration, built by Web Shop Manager PartsLogic Connect for PDM Automotive reads your PDM account over the API and lands catalog, fitment, and media as real product pages. Year make model fitment search is native to the platform, so the fitment PDM carries is shoppable with no additional fitment search app. Detail below.
Shopify Logo appears, no published connector Shopify appears as a logo among the channels PDM says it contributes catalog content to. PDM publishes no Shopify connector or Shopify integration documentation.
Magento Not listed No Magento or Adobe Commerce integration appears in PDM published materials.
WooCommerce Not listed No WooCommerce integration appears in PDM published materials.
Everything else Export files or custom API work PDM states it supports CSV and Excel exports plus custom data pipelines for bespoke integrations. That path works, but somebody has to run it.

Marketplaces are a separate question from platforms. PDM also shows Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and several parts retailers as destinations it feeds. Those are sales channels, not the software your own website runs on, so they are not in the roster above.

The deep path

Does PDM Automotive Work With Web Shop Manager?

Yes. PartsLogic Connect for PDM Automotive is a direct, live API integration. The brands you are authorized for in PDM flow onto your store as complete, categorized, vehicle-fitted, media-rich product pages that stay current.

Most PDM integrations are a person downloading Excel exports and massaging spreadsheets. This one speaks the platform natively: direct API, ACES 4.2 fitment decoded against the industry VCdb standard, PIES media and copy, and it lands store-ready products that stay invisible until you choose to publish them. Your PDM catalog, live on your website, without anyone touching your pricing. Landing the data is only half the job: on platforms without native fitment search the shopper-facing year make model layer is a separate third-party product you buy and maintain, while on Web Shop Manager it is built into the platform.

Three lanes, one pipeline

Everything Connect pulls out of PDM lands in one of three lanes, and each lane has its own job on the storefront.

Catalog

Part numbers, product names, part types, GTIN and UPC, brand identity, and long-form copy for every item in the brands you are authorized for. Part types are anchored to the PCdb industry taxonomy and mapped into your own category tree, so products land already categorized instead of in a pile.

Fitment

ACES 4.2 fitment decoded against the industry VCdb vehicle database, so year, make, model, submodel, and engine applications arrive as structured fitment rows. Where a brand keeps its applications as free text instead, our decoder converts them, measured at 97.5% accuracy against the manufacturer’s own ACES data with a 0.22% stray rate. It is accuracy-gated: it writes a row only on a confident parse, and preserves the rest verbatim rather than guessing.

Media

PIES 7.x digital assets and content: full resolution images, documents, and marketing copy rather than a single thumbnail. That is typically 6 to 11 digital assets per item across measured catalogs. Product pages arrive looking finished.

On the storefront that becomes real vehicle filtering. A shopper picks their truck and sees parts that fit it, powered by PartsLogic search and Year Make Model fitment.

The trust part

What we never touch

A catalog integration that can move your money is a liability. This one cannot, by design, and that boundary is enforced in code and covered by tests.

Pricing. Connect never writes a price. PDM is a content platform and carries no pricing anyway, so nothing about a PDM sync can reprice your store. Live price and availability come from your own distributor feeds, such as ASAP, Premier, and Turn14, running through the same pipeline and landing on the same product record.

Inventory. Connect never writes stock levels. Content and availability stay in separate lanes on purpose.

Publish state. Products arrive dark. Nothing is publicly visible until you publish it. Items that fail validation are quarantined with a recorded reason, never silently dropped and never silently published.

Syncs run on a schedule and are change-gated: the store is only written where the data actually changed. One bad brand or one bad file degrades that brand only, with a recorded reason, and the sync resumes where it stopped. It is built for large catalogs and behaves like it.

What about PDM Automotive CSV import?

The manual route is real and it works. PDM supports CSV and Excel exports, and plenty of merchants run their catalog that way: export from PDM, open the file, fix the columns, import to the store, repeat next month when something changes.

It also has a cost that nobody puts on the invoice. Somebody owns that file. Fitment usually arrives as free text and stays unusable, so year, make, and model filtering never really works. Images come through as whatever the spreadsheet could carry. And the catalog is only as fresh as the last time a human remembered to run the process.

This integration replaces that loop. There is no export step, no spreadsheet handoff, and no manual re-import when a brand updates. If you are searching for a PDM Automotive CSV import because that is the only path you have been shown, the API path is the one to ask about.

Beyond the storefront

Fitment data that does not stop at the product page

Vehicle fitment is worth more than a filter on a category page. Once year, make, and model context is structured on the product, the platform carries it outward into the channels where merchants actually run campaigns.

Web Shop Manager carries that vehicle context into its Klaviyo and Mailchimp integrations, and into the product catalogs it publishes to Meta and TikTok. Email flows and shopping catalogs stay fitment-aware instead of flattening back into a generic parts list the moment the data leaves the site. For a PDM catalog this is automatic: the integration lands the ACES applications already structured, so the same fitment that powers on-site search flows into those channels with no re-keying and no separate feed work.

What your shoppers get

  • Vehicle-verified browsing. Pick a year, make, and model and the store narrows to parts that fit.
  • Fitment-filtered search through PartsLogic, so search results respect the vehicle too.
  • Brand pages built from real brand data rather than a text list.
  • Product pages with structured content that search engines and AI answer engines can read.

The same pipeline runs every other supplier and distributor connection we operate. See PartsLogic Connect for the full picture, or the platform overview for what sits underneath.

Frequently asked questions

Which eCommerce platforms work with PDM Automotive?

As of August 2026, PDM Automotive publishes a native connector for BigCommerce, and Web Shop Manager runs a direct API integration through PartsLogic Connect. Shopify appears as a logo among the channels PDM contributes catalog content to, but PDM publishes no Shopify connector. No Magento or WooCommerce integration appears in PDM published materials. Every other platform is served by CSV or Excel export, or by custom API work.

Does PDM Automotive work with BigCommerce?

Yes. PDM publishes a BigCommerce connector and documents that integration on its own site, including multi storefront support. That is a PDM product, not a Web Shop Manager one. Making that catalog shoppable by year, make, and model still takes a third-party year make model search plug-in on top of the connector, because vehicle search is not native to BigCommerce.

Does PDM Automotive work with Shopify?

Not through a connector that PDM publishes. Shopify appears as a logo on the PDM site among the channels it contributes catalog content to, but as of August 2026 there is no Shopify integration in PDM published materials. Getting PDM data onto Shopify today means an export file or custom API work.

Does PDM Automotive work with Web Shop Manager?

Yes. PartsLogic Connect for PDM Automotive is a direct, live API integration between PDM and a Web Shop Manager store. The brands you are authorized for in PDM flow onto your store as complete, categorized, vehicle-fitted, media-rich product pages that stay current.

Does the integration change my prices?

No. Connect never writes a price or a stock level, and that boundary is enforced in code and covered by tests. PDM is a content platform and carries no pricing at all, so a PDM sync has nothing to reprice with. Live price and availability come from your own distributor feeds, such as Premier, ASAP, and Turn14, which run through the same pipeline and land on the same product record.

Do I still need a PDM CSV import?

No. PDM supports CSV and Excel exports, and that is how many merchants load a catalog today. This integration replaces that loop: there is no export step, no spreadsheet handoff, and no manual re-import when a brand updates something.

Does it handle vehicle fitment?

Yes, in two lanes. Where PDM supplies ACES 4.2 fitment, Connect decodes it against the industry VCdb vehicle database, so year, make, model, submodel, and engine applications land as structured fitment. Where a brand keeps applications as free text instead, a decoder converts them, measured at 97.5% accuracy against the manufacturer’s own ACES data with a 0.22% stray rate. The decoder is accuracy-gated: it writes a fitment row only on a confident parse, and preserves everything else verbatim rather than guessing.

What if a brand I want is not in my PDM authorization?

Connect syncs what you are authorized for in PDM, so brand access is a conversation with PDM, not a technical limit on our side. When a new authorization is granted it appears on the next sync with no second setup. If a brand is not available through PDM at all, the same pipeline can load it from another source you have rights to.

Where to go next

PDM Automotive is a trademark of its respective owner. Platform statuses above were read from PDM published materials in August 2026 and are stated for factual comparison only. PartsLogic Connect for PDM Automotive is built and operated by Web Shop Manager and runs against a merchant’s own PDM Automotive account. Web Shop Manager does not claim any partnership with, affiliation with, or endorsement by PDM Automotive, BigCommerce, or Shopify. Brand availability depends on the authorizations a merchant holds in PDM.
